Where in Phuket is best?

We are 3 older couples who plan to visit Phuket and are looking for a quieter location with lush gardens at a mid price. Which part of Phuket is best for us. Night life is not important. Can you recommend a small hotel with bungalows/villas on a nice propery?

If you want to be close to beach and have a tropical gardens style but also close to restaurants etc but not the full-on busiest areas, the Marina Resort at the south end of Karon Beach is very nice. Because it was built so long ago it benefits from nice gardens / grounds and an excellent location

There are other beaches such as Bangtai / Surin, Nai Yang etc that are away from the busiest areas

It very much depends how you enjoy spending your days and evenings and what you are looking to get out of your vacation.

Mom Tri's Boathouse might suit you, it's directly on the beach and in a beautiful setting and the restaurant is fabulous.

Chrella means The Boathouse which is located directly on Kata beach. It is no longer called Mom Tris Boathouse since it was sold and renovated over 2 years ago.

Mom Tri does still own Mom Tris Villa Royale which is located on the hill between Kata and Kata Noi beaches. This boutique style establishment is located in a stunning garden setting with magnificent views overlooking the sea. Check out there website here: www.villaroyalephuket.com/

Have a great holiday!

Chantal.
