Flying

Hi, I have really weak ear drums, and my trip to Patong will be my first flight overseas (YAY!), so I'm just wondering if anyones got any tips for flying that might make the trip alot less painful.

Thanks :)

Go speak to your chemist. I am sure he/she would have something to recommend.

first plane trip my ears went berserk & since they go absolutely bad,

only thing that helps me is to put ear plugs in ears when taking off & landing.

Then its still holding the nose & pop out the ears, huge yawns to try to pop them.

Rest of the time they are fine.

Yes as said the chemists sell ear plugs but you must put them in 1 hour before landing, they also sell them at the newsagents at Brisbane and Gold Coast Airports and they work well, my wife swears by them.

I use industrial ear plugs that I get from a "workwear "shop. They are called Spark Plugs ! They are the best I have ever used. ( have been using them for about 7 years now )

I have consistently used Afrin nose spray many times with good results. I apply the spray about 30 minutes before take-off.
