Wine in Patong - Where's the best place to buy a Chardonnay?

Just wondering where the best place to buy wine is. Does the Oceanic Supermarket have it. How much can I expect to pay for an Australian Chardonnay?

Hi

If you just type wine into the search box you will find lots of threads of interest.

The wine connection cellar and restaurant in Jungceylon has a huge range of wines at very good prices for Asia. Can buy very good south american Chardonays for around 450- 500 baht. Aussie chardonays around 800-900 baht but still good value for asia. Their pizzas are tops as well.

Thanks, that does sound like a reasonable price for Asia. We'll definitely give Jungceylon a try.

The rule of no alcohol sales between 2 and 5pm is still enforced in supermarkets in Phuket. It most likely also includes Wine Connection in Jung Ceylon. Speaking from experience I can recommend their desserts!

Cheers,

Lisa
