We stayed at Club Andaman in a Deluxe Balcony Room which was great. They also have a Junior suite which has a separate bedroom (Room 521 was one of these). Lovely big balcony, overlooking spacious gardens. Lovely.

Enjoy your stay.

Hi Patrice26,

If you are looking for a 5star hotel the Merlin Beach Resort would be the one. The only problem is that its about a 5min taxi ride to Patong Beach. Good Luck :)

We stayed at the Patong Merlin resort, right opposite the beach and walking distance to everything. Didnt need a taxi for getting around Patong at all as everything was so close. Rooms very clean and tidy and quite modern. 3 really nice pools, great food for breakfast but not a 5 star resort if that is what you are after. But id definitely stay there again, didnt have any problems. We had a look at the Burasari when we were walking past and that looked amazing and very new. We took photos it looked so nice. I read a report that said the Burasari had a musty smell, but the whole of Patong absolutely stank when we were there bit of a shock when u rock up, but its to be expected, you dont get used to it though unfortunately! We've been told by friends that it didnt smell as bad when they went, so might be the time of year, we were there peak season (december, january).

Recommend Holiday Inn. This resort is very nice and right in the city center of Patong beach. The swimming pools are big and beautiful..There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops next to the hotel. The room is very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet has many good selections. Try it.

Hi, for our first visit we stayed at the Patong Beach Hotel. We had a great time and stayed in the Sunset Suite which was really nice. The staff were really helpful and nice. The location was extremely central. The only thing we missed was a swim up pool bar. Next time we will try the Holiday Inn to try something different. We would stay at the Patong Beach Hotel again sometime.

Cheers,

Georgie
