Krabi with kids - fun activities?

We'll be visiting Krabi for 5 nights with three kids (aged 3, 6, and 8). We'll either be staying at Tubkaak, Amari Vogue, or Rayavadee. We're looking for interesting activities. We're interesting in exploring, boating, cooking, snorkeling, scuba diving (adults) and generally getting out there. Our kids are good, hearty travelers. We will have just spent 5 nights in Phuket and will have already sailed with Captain Mark and done quite a bit of touristy stuff up there (elephant camp, snake show, etc), Does anyone have any itinerary and specific tour recommendations?

If you stay at the Tubkaak with 3 kids you will need to book two rooms I don't think they have one room large enough. The Tubkaak is a very quiet hotel with no childrens activities at all other than a nice pool and beach, obviously depends what your kids are into.

There are plenty of boat-things, swimming/diving things, etc.

There are tons of travel/tour agents around - you can check with them - they have photos and can describe what happens on the tours. Most agents are selling the same thing, but there are some more specialized tour companies that you can look out for (e.g., eco-trips, sea kayaking).

You can also check out hiring boats for the day for yourselves only - this may be cheaper and gives you more control (especially with children's changing whims), but a little more hassle in that you must pay some park fees and provide your own water, food, snorkeling gear. The boat stations at Ao Nang have prices posted for hiring boats yourselves.
