Bangkok, Chang Mai & a resort

My husband and I would like to visit these three areas. What transport is there from Bangkok to Chang Mai? We are in our 50's so can any one reccomend a resort/beach/island?

Hi there,

Wrong forum but you can fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. You can also do the journey by rail or bus. Your choice of beach/island may well depend on the time of the year you visit Thailand.

If you plan on travelling to Kanchanaburi it can be reached by private transfer/taxi, bus, rail and mini bus.

Robyn,

If you plan on staying in Kanchanaburi, check out the Oriental Kwai Resort. Fantastic place! All the positive reviews here on Tripadvisor are true.

Hi, if you want quiet and nothing much to do - try Ko Samet. But if you want a little more life other than the beach, you can try Koh Samui. Of course, this depends on the time of the year you will be travelling here.
