2 day itinerary for Kanchanaburi

Hi,

We'll be checking out of bangkok hotel (dream) and heading to Kanchanaburi for 2 days - will the dream keep our bags for us??

So we arrive in Kan at lunchtime and do the river kwai and possibly tigers - anything else?

Then we stay over night somewhere and head to Erwan falls the next morning and head back to bangkok in the evening for a flight to Ko Samui.

Does this work as a rough itinerary?

Thanks,

Annie

Hi Annie,

That is pretty much what we did... just allow for transport delays... If you can get an extra night in that will leave you enough time to do everything...

Day 1 we arrived late afternoon and didnt do much but relax

Day 2 we just wandered around near the guesthouse in the morning and did the War cemetry. In the afternoon we did the Tiger Temple

Day 3 We caught the local bus to Erawan Falls, caught the 3pm bus back, went to the guesthouse and grabbed our bags then back to the bus station for a 5.30pm bus to Bangkok.

What you are doing is fine... depending on flight time to Samui. Buses leave Erawan every hour so you can always get an early start... we did the 930 am bus there and 3pm bus back...
