Veranda Resort & Spa

Has anyone stayed or have info on this resortin Cha am? We are a family of 5, 3 kids 14,11,7 looking for a relaxing few days. We fly into Bkk from Scotland and would like to recover from the journey somewhere fairly quiet, perhaps with a few shops/restaurants to explore.Looked at the Regent but seems very big and impersonal. We will be staying here for 5 days before retuning to Bkk and taking the night train to the North East. How easy to get to Cha am from airport in Bkk. The advantage at the Veranda is that they can offer us a 2 bedroom pool villa to accommodate us all, any views will be most welcome.

we stayed in this wonderful hotel over christmas and new year..and as it was so great we went back in february. We were living in Bangkok at the time and it is a great place to escape too away from the smog and noise of the city. Not a lot for children to do and to be honest people go there to relax and it was mainly couples there and the children that were there were very quiet. Pool area amazing, rooms spotless and very chic. Food amazing and spa is out of this world. Hua-Hin is a bus ride away..very busy and full of tourists. Night market worth a visit!

We hired a taxi to take us from bangkok to cha-am, the journey is lovely and relaxing and cost about 30 pounds each way.

have a great holiday
