1> Travel to Bangkok Airport and fly ( if you taxi to the airport, allow plenty of time for check in time in case of any road traffic delays, taxiing, flight time, collect baggage at other end, then taxi to your hotel ) total journey time about 7 hrs+

2> Direct express buses from Hua Hin to Phuket Town, takes about 10 hrs overnight costs about B 780

3> Car+driver I would have to guess at about B 6-7,000 including fuel, would take 7.5 to 8 hrs including a couple of fuel/food stops.

So via Bangkok and flight honestly does not save you much time if it saves anything compared to car+driver. Although car+driver may look expensive you need to add taxi/car to airport, airfares, taxi at Phuket Airport to your hotel. So think about that when thinking costs.

A car+driver takes you right from your Cha Am hotel and delivers you right to the entrance of your Phuket hotel, at times to suit you and a pace that suits you.

Before you ask, taking a train to Surat Thani and then bus is not worth it, no point taking the train and then having to get to the bus and then the long trip, I mention as others have before about that option.
