Itinerary Help SML - CingJing - Taichung in Winter, December

Hello,

We are a group of family and friends that will be travelling together in Taichung in mid December.

We are looking to hire a driver to take us around as there is a couple of older folks with us. Here is the itinerary that one of the drivers has recommended to us:

Day 1:

Leave from SML, Puli (Paper Church,Winery,18c Chocolate), Lushan Hot Spring to Cingjing (Staying 2 nights)

Day 2:

Cingjing to Hehuanshan, Green Green Grassland, Small Swiss Garden

Day 3:

Leave Cingjing to Lukang,BaguaShan Scenic area, Feng Jia night market

Day 4:

Shishe Castle, Lavender forest, Rainbow Village

As this is our first time in this area, I would like to ask if this is a good pace itinerary? Is it worth it go to swiss garden and the lavender forest during this Winter season? Will anything be in bloom? If not, is there anywhere that we will be able to go in place?

What is the usual temperature around these areas during the winter season?

Just wondering if there are any fruit farms in Cingjing or the areas that we are going? It will be great if I can bring the folks to an orchard to pick fruits.

Will anyone be able to recommend some easy walking trails in Cingjing and SML as well. We like to walk and explore places!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.
