from taichung HSR to Hotel-One to Feng Jia NM

may i ask whether the following methods of travelling is ok or not?

from Taichung HSR to Hotel-One, either take the free shuttle bus to Sogo and walk to Hotel-One or take cab (how much will the journey cost)

from Hotel-one to Feng Jia NM, i can only think of the cab way and was told the fare will be NT$200.

any advise will be appreciated.

thanks

Either board free shuttle bus at Taichung HSR Station to SOGO stop. From there walk about 350m to Hotel-One. The 20 mins cab ride costs around NT$270

Free shuttle buses from Taichung HSR Station:

Three routes:

(A) Taichung HSR Station -- SOGO Dept Store -- China Medical University – Taichung Park route;

(B) Taichung HSR Station -- Chaoma -- Tunghai University route – Central Taiwan Science Park route;

(C) Taichung HSR Station -- Fengjia night market / University – Overseas Chinese Institute of Technology route

Walk to SOGO to board the free shuttle bus to Taichung HSR Station and transfer to another free shuttle bus to Fengjia night market.

---------------------------------------------------------

Alternatively, board Taichung City bus 88, United bus 83 (of course there are other buses) along Taijhong Harbour Rd Sec 1 to Taichung Bus Station. Transfer to the following buses to Fengjia night market.

Taichung Bus 33, 35

Is hotel-one near to the taichung HSR station and feng chia night market? I am thinking of visiting feng chia night market, stay over taichung for a night then take HSR back to taipei.

Hotel-One (台中亞緻大飯店) is in Taichung downtown, not near Taichung HSR Station and Fengchia night market.
