Hualien Minsu

Dear all,

I'm deciding between 3 minsus and i hope experts can give me sound advice:

1) Ho Feng Minsu

www.gotohl.com.tw/ad.php?url=www.hfbnb.com.tw

2) Shan Yue Zhu

http://www.julivilla.com.tw/

3) Yi Si Feng Qing

http://www.is-life.com.tw/aboutus.html

I wish to know which location is better as i'll be staying for 4 days and travelling around on a scooter to places of interest.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Can I suggest another minsu which we stayed previously? :)

http://hualienbay.hlbnb.com.tw/about.htm

Was there in 2007 and the owners met us @ the train stn to pick us up + drop off when we left Hualien. Comes w b/f, and because it was off-peak season, we were given the largest rm - the double storey rm w 3 double beds. =) And there were only 2 of us that time. :)

They also brought us to try their famous dumping (i think its called that), and their famous bian tang. Yummy!

Hi,

We stayed 2 nights there. But because of the train timings, we got there mid afternoon + left on the 3rd day 11am+, so effectively we only had 1 full day in Hualien to go to those tours.

Yup, we spent that day in Taroko. That time we were there in Oct. The minsu owners told us it was off peak for them. :)

The Hualein Bay minsu looks good. But cant find the rates on their website. Any idea? There are 6 of us so prob take the biggest room.

1) Any good view?

2) Meals included?

3) Shops/eating places nearby, walking distance?

4) How far from the train station?

Thanks
