Hi, eating out in a restaurant is expensive but he can always go to a take-away. They are found all over the islans. The food is fresh and good as if you would eat at the hotel.

Maybe look at self-catering with a couple of nights at a luxury resort such as L'Orangeraie on La Digue to mark the occassion. Have a look at La Fontaine Holiday Apartments in Beau Vallon book online www.seychelles-last-minute.com/o_60.html. This way you can have the option to eat out, take-out or self cater. They are luxury apartments at a bargain price of 100 euro per night. There are other options too.

It all depends where you are. Mahe is blessed with plenty of very reasonable places to eat, so you'll be fine... if you're on a single island resort and do not have half board, then upgrade..
