Arriving in Seychelles with no pre-booked accommadation

Flying to Mahe Island on March 7th for 10 nights, hoping to find budget accommodation as we travel the Islands(Mahe, Praslin and La Digue). How strict are they on arrival about having somewhere pre-booked? If so is one night enough? Also are we likely to find plenty of choice, especially on the smaller islands, or will they be fully booked? We are travelling outside of the uk and french school holidays. Anyone else who has 'backpacked' there way round, any advice would be great.

Immigration aren't so strict on needing to know all those details but I would recommend booking at least your first night or two.....

On the Seychelles official website there are some good price guesthouses/small hotels that start from 50-60 euros a night.

Here is the link

You can simply select the island, price range and location. We used this site to find our accommodation and found it a great tool.
