Nazareth to Haifa on a Sunday

Need advice, a couple with a group, has a Sunday free (from them) and want to go to Haifa. What's the easiest way to do that? Is it safe to do so? What's the best way to spend time?

Sומגשy is a regular workday in Israel - the first day of the work week. You will have no problem taking public transportation from Nazareth to Haifa - and yes, it is perfectly safe. You will find that buses may be more crowded than usual since it is the beginning of a week and many people who went "home" for the weekend will be heading back to school, work, the army, etc.

There are numerous buses that run from the Central Bus Station in Nazareth to various locations in Haifa.

You can choose from the website the places you want to visit. The highlight is the Bahahi Gardens. If you have time or want something different you can go to Akko for 3-4 hours and visit the old city there.

There is no central bus station in Nazareth, and the regular bus company is not Egged, the national company but a local company, which just as reliable. You can find the info on the buses (Bus # 332 Nazareth to Haifa) at:

Just ask any local where to find the stations for this route, and call the info to make sure what time to expect it
