Dinner at Ein Gedi

We will stay for two nights at the Ein Gedi kibbutz hotel. We hoped to have dinner at Haya's place, I learned that she is out of business. Are there any restaurants nearby, or should we plan to have our meal at the hotel? (I hoped to have dinner one night at the hotel, and another someplace else -- but maybe there are no convenient restaurants?)

There is a restaurant at Ein Gedi beach, but I think they are closed at the evening. So, if you're talking dinner, your only option outside of the kibbutz is at Ein Bokek (20 minutes drive south).

The buffet dinner at the Ein Gedi kibbutz restaurant was wonderful. I would have happily eaten there two nights in a row. If it's not included with your stay, it was 130 shekels/person, and worth every penny. Go very, very hungry - there are so many great dishes to sample.
