confused about VOA

Australian citizens don't need a VOA when flying into Bali but do they need one for Lombok?

Do we pay an arrival fee for Lombok and then again flying from Lombok to Denpasar?

Also is it in USD?

You need to pay the visa on arrival ($25US) on arrival into Indonesia, including Bali or Lombok, then there is a

25000 Rupiah local tax between the islands.

Australian citizens DO need a Visa On Arrival (VOA) when entering any place in Indonesia, whether it be Bali, Jakarta, lombok, or elswehere. The VOA is purchased when you arrive. It costs the equivelant of USD25, and you can pay in AUD or Rupiah or USD or any other major currency. Cash preferred. The visa is valid for 30 days throughout Indonesia. If you go to Bali from Lombok you are still in Indo and your visa is valid and in any case you dont pass tgrough immigration again.

as a separate fee is the departure tax charged by airports in Indonesia. They do the same thing in Australia but add it to your airfare. In Indo, it depends on what airport you are using and whether you are flying international or domestic. For example, international depature tax in Bali is Rp150,000 but in Lombok it is 100,000. Domestic rates also vary.
