Normally in the harbour area of Lembar in the south west of the island.

Sometimes they may also drop anchor off the Gilli islands just off the mid-northwest coast of the island.

Celebrity tendered when we were there in Jan 2013 and our guide met us just outside the port gate easy to spot them if they hold up your name and it saves any hasstle. Took about 20 mins to tender if I remember correctly.

Lynda is providing some good information in regard to being met at the port.

The local 'guides' somewhat control the port area, so many of the pick-ups need to meet at the main gate, just follow the traffic, there is only one main gate.

Don't accept any assistance, they person providing it may try to mislead you, or seek a 'commission' from the person waiting for you.

The Police post is adjacent to the main gate.

If anyone keeps on bothering you thank them and let them know you are just going to the Police post :)
