I'm thinking about renting a car and driving myself around for a week in the very northern tip of Sulawesi to get around to the dive sites and hill towns.
I found driving in Bali for 3 weeks to be no problem--it's well developed with decent (but narrow) roads and we could find our way easily.
How easy is it to find our way around the roads on Sulawesi?
I'm also considering renting a car and driving from Makassar up to Rantepao to visit the Toraja area--how is that for visitors to find our way?
Thanks, fellow travellers!
