3 full days at Ubud itinerary

Hi! We are traveling to Bali this week and we have 3 full days at Ubud and the following days at Kuta, what other places could we go to aside from Mt Batur, Monkey Forest and the market? Is there a nearby beach we could go to?

Also, when is it advisable to go to Tanah Lot Temple? When in Ubud or when in Kuta?

Thank you very much!

Tanah Lot and the beach can be done when you are in Kuta..Kuta is on a large beach, and depending on your hotel will be very easy to reach.

For trips around Ubud, there is a lot to see and do..most people like to hire a private car and driver to tour temples, see rice field views, Batur of course, (also known as Kintamani) . On a separate day you can go up to Bedugul area and see Jatiiluwih and other agricultural areas.. However, all depends on your own interests...do you want to see temples, performing arts, take cooking classes, do river rafting or treetops, hiking, etc etc...so much that it's impossible to recommend specifics as everyone is different.

When you hire a driver, talk to him and tell him what sounds good to you, he will make suggestions and you can tell him what you want to do. He will be able to put together an itinerary based on what you tell him...more or less...

Thank you very much MangoMonkey! Sounds good, we'd love to go to temples, go sightseeing and do rafting and tubing...

Is it worth going up north to Lovina?
