Best first night family restaurant in Sanur??!?!?

Hi guys,

Love to know your thoughts on the best, family friendly restaurant in Sanur. Travelling with 2 sets of grandparents, 4 kids (8,12, 12 14) hubby & self - 10 of us. Most have never been to Bali before.

Having never been to Sanur before, am getting pretty excited!

Please tell me your best places….hmmm maybe on the beach???

Only 27 days now!

Go for a leisurely walk/explore along the beach; there are so many places and you can check out their menus from the front of the restaurants, stop for a smoothie or a Bintang and check out what you might like.

Mona Lisa's on the main drag, and Wicked Parrot usually has a band, Rib, Village, Lila Warang down Bumi Ayu laneway. All wonderful, and many more. You'll find your faves and will have a wonderful time.

Where are you staying,do you only want to walk or get a taxi.

Sanur is quite long and has many restaurants South, Middle and North.

I am with katie07, try La Playa for great food. The live music at La Playa is also very good.

However because you are staying at Kamuela and have 4 kids plus parents these are restaurants in that area. Keep in mind they will need three taxis every time they go somewhere. So that alone will be a logistical nightmare every time the crew go out.

Lea, near Kamuela you have Sal e Pepe, Red Manna, Caesars, Little India, Fortune Cookie, Fire Station, Gardenia and about 8 other restaurants all within easy walking distance. Caramel in the Kamuela hotel is also good but may be a waste depending on the kids palates. Beach Breeze is cheap option nearby.

The crew will possibly enjoy the dwarf boxing at Savanna on Saturday nights.

If you head down the lane way beside Red Manna you will come to Bobbies, Tora Tora and Cemara Beach which are wonderful little restaurants on the beach.

Head north for a short walk after those three places and you will come to a number of local style warungs on the beach. A bit further north you will come to La Playa that we have already mentioned.
