is it too windy in Sanur mid June?

We have booked flights to Bali for mid June 2014 and would like to stay in a quieter part of Bali. I have been told that it can be very windy from June - August in Nusa Dua and Sanur. We would like to stay at a beach front resort. Can somebody please advise on the weather conditions in June , in particular if the wind is an issue? Thank you for you advice

We stayed at the Puri Santrian in June this year and it wasn't windy. We had breakfast on the beachfront every day. They did have some clear blinds that they put up while we were there but we didn't think they were needed.

It very rarely gets really windy. The norm is that there is a nice breeze which cools things down a little compared to the humidity of the rest of the year. They call this season kite season in Bali.

Although it's a welcome breeze on the street and throughout the hotel, it blew it's guts out on the beach when we stayed in sanur in early July.

This year's conditions In Bali were unusual. We too were in Bali in July and it would not normally be as windy as it was, nor as wet as it was on a number of days. I believe you will enjoy yourself, even if it is windy on occasions...it's certainly the best time of year to be in Bali, if you prefer less humidity.
