daily living costs

As a family of 5 I was keen to know the expenses of everyday items like bottled water, snacks for the kids etc . Is it worth going up to Hardys to stock up for the week . Or are there lots of suitable outlets/eatries around Sanur ?

there are heaps of very good places to eat in sanur at very affordable prices. we have a number of restaurant reviews for sanur which you can read. you don't say where you are staying but a walk in either direction from your hotel either along JL Tamblingan or the beach front walkway will have you at any number of places. the menus are usually out the front and prices clearly displayed. do check if tax and service is included in the price of is added on. prices start at around $2 AUD - $8 AUD (this is approx) for most dishes at the majority of restaurants. Water, beer, fruit juice and soft drinks are all cheap as well. Restaurants have a good choice to suit all the family and if you are unsure of something just ask and they are happy to adjust the ingredients to suit, ie no chillies, not spicy etc.

It is also a good idea to go to Hardy's and stock up on water, snacks, poppers, soft drink, nuts, fruit etc to put in your bar fridge for the kids.
