hair braiding is available in many places. there are ladies on most beaches who do braiding and they will call out as you go past asking if you want braiding. at first they will ask for a 'high' price to do it and you can bargain and settle on a price you feel happy to pay. usually a couple of ladies will do the braiding to cut down on the time it takes. this will vary and take more time for longer hair. allow around one hour as a guide. there are also numerous salons who do braiding. i have a price list for a small salon in sanur called Yani salon who charge the following: short 70,000rp, medium 85,000rp and long 100,000rp. as you walk around check a few places and compare

Hi.We have just got back and my daughter had hers done twice while there - once in Sanur when we arrived and then 2 weeks later in Seminyak so it would look good to come back to school ?? In Sanur we paid 80 000 and Seminyak 90 000 (for a much better job). Both times we asked people at the hotel with braids that looked good who had done them.
