    hi all

    can anyone give an up to date approx cost we should pay for the dawn and also the sunset boat rides.

    Hiya !!

    Boat ride would cost Rs 100/hour/person , depend how many people you are, sometime you may get some discount if you are in a group, if you haggle ....

    Its the same for sunrise or sunset ...

    Again, boatmen are poor guys.. they do a hard job.. I recommend you tip them a bit . I am not saying that you throw all your money , just give them Rs 20 or something as any bit of it may make someone happy : )
