Tour to Ooty

Planning visit to Ooty in last week of September. Needed some information,

1. Can Bandipur be the good place for accommodation?

2. Travelling options available for sight seeing?

3. Can the major points be covered in couple of days? If yes, please help me with the spot sequence? Or should approach tourist Guide peoples?

If you are planning to tour Ooty and take in the beauty of the hill station, scenic beauty, climate and the old world experience then Bandipur is not a good place to base yourself out of.

Bandipur is a great place for the wilderness lover and is a prime wildlife experience zone. You can actually stay at Ooty, look up the local views and sight seeing places (like Botanical gardens, Boating lakes at Ooty, Pykara, Highest point at Ooty like Dodabetta and a whole lot of other places which i am sure forum members will help post or have already posted for you to dig a little deeper into). You can possibly take a day tour to Bandipur or Mudumalai (wildlfe) for a safari.

Buses, Cabs are available aplenty at Ooty for local travel and i am sure the hotel you choose to stay would guide you on the tourist spots. Other forum members have already posted a lot of info over the years and a little time spent on archives will give you a decent list.
