For domestic flights we report an hour in advance for all classes of tickets, it is not connected with the size of the airport. For international flights we report 2 hours in advance for business class and 3 for economy.

2:30 pm Spicejet flight is a good choice if you want to do some sightseeing in Jaipur. The markets open late, around 11 am, but the morning can be put to good use at Amer Fort, which opens early. If you leave after breakfast at 7:30 am and get to Amer by 8:00 am you can do the short elephant ride up to the fort, and see the fort by 10:00 am. Then by 10:30 you will be back in the city, and can visit the City Palace until, say noon. You may not have time for a leisurely lunch, but maybe you can try some fast food - there is a Subway in Jaipur, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza etc.

I would keep 45 minutes for the drive from City Palace to the airport. There is a nice restaurant at the City Palace (The City Palace Cafe) so you can juts eat there and head straight for the airport. You need to report an hour before the flight. Kingfisher will be from the new terminal with entry from JLN Marg and is a shorter drive from the city.
