Dear Traveler

Yes they all are different and you will get different kind of experience at each village.

1. Bisnoi- it’s around 21 km from the Jodhpur. Famous for Bishnoi tribes, procreation of nature and various kind of safaris. You will also witness here the great art work on block printing.

2. Khichan/ Kheechan - it’s around 140 km from the Jodhpur. Mostly famous for migratory Birds. It’s in the middle of Thar Desert, and that’s this village attract many tourists specially for photographers and bird lovers. Every year around 20 Demoiselle Cranes migrate from Mongolia and Eurasia.

3. Osian- it’s around 70 km from Jodhpur. Famous for Jain and Hindu temples of 8th to 11th centuries. Also you can enjoy the Dunes Camp here and Camel Safari etc. It will be kind of Desert experience like in San Dunes Jaisalmer and with old temples.

Hope you find all the information that you need...

If have any questions, feel free to ask.

Good suggestion in Post # 01.

Apart from Bishnoi others are far. You may do day excursion of Bishnoi village to visit Potters, Cobblers and weavers at work in traditional style.

Thanks .

This is really helpful.

Are the camps in Osian hygienic, comfortable with Rajasthani cultural activities.

Can you please suggest some nice camps for family .

Bishnoi- are the Rajasthani tradesmen easy to find . How big is Bishno and how much time should we spend there.

Thanks

Your welcome

You can get all the facilities at the Camps if you visit during the season time.

In this open form can’t suggest the particular camp name, as it’s against the TA policy.

Yes It is easy to find the tradesmen, better hire a Open Car or go on jeep Safari in Bishnoi.... you will witness many. It’s not big and It’s slightly from from the limelight. You will see many small villages surrounding.
