Please suggest a itinerary for kerala for 7 days in Oct end.... please suggest some nice places to stay too. We are travelling with our two daughters (age 11 and 6).

Hi,

Considering your children also in mind, just check out the intenary provided for 7 days visit to kerala under the impression that, you still to book journey tickets.

This itenary you can try in 'reverse mode' also.

1st day : Trivandrum

> Kovalam beach, one of the beautiful beaches in south india.

> Veli kayal - nice brackish water boating avaialble

> Zoo & museum - One of the kind in kerala

Stay in any nice hotel in trivandrum or kovalam.

2nd day: Move to kumarakom - 4 hours from Trivandrum

> reserve room in any resort in advance. If like to take a house boat for a day, need to reach here at around 9 AM , otherwise boat service avaialble in hour basis.

> Visit bird sanctury, nice calm place tp spend some time

Over night stay in any resort.

> 3rd day and night in house boat

4th day: To Thekkady 4 hours approx. The way to thekkady offers stunning views of western ghat clifs, payved with greenish tea carpet all over. The road goes through mundakayam, kuttikanam, vandiperiyar and kumily.

> Visit periyar wild life sanctury

> Boating in periyar reservoir would be an unforgettable time for all.

Stay in any KTDC resorts avaialble in the sanctury

5th day: Pack up your things and move to Munnar, which is one of the beautiful hill stattions in kerala. Ghat journey will take approx. 4 hours. Book rooms in advance, because in oct season starts.

spend 5th & 6th day in Munnar

> Visit Eravikulam national park, Mattupetty, kundala dams, Eco point, Top station, Tea museum, View point, lock heart gap, anayirangal etc

7th day - to Cochin and fly back

If you find this one difficult, cut off trivandrum portion and try it in reverse mode.

Hello sir,

Kindly have a look at the itinerary.

Day 1 :Arrival at Cochin Airport/Rly station, check in to hotel, sight seeing, Dutch palace, Jewish synagogue, Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese fishing net etc. Overnight stay

Day 2:Transfer to Munnar. A 4 hour scenic drive through hill station. On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point etc. check in to hotel, Overnight stay

day 3:Sight seeing at Munnar, Visit Mattuppetty dam, Gundala lake, Indo-Swiss project, Eravikulam National park etc. Overnight stay

Day 4:Proceed to Thekkady, check in to hotel, sight seeing Tea- Cardamom plantations, Boating through Periyar lake, Periyar wildlife sanctuary visit, Spice plantation tour etc. Overnight stay

Day 5:Proceed to Alleppey. On the way have Kumarakom sight seeing like Kumarakom bird sanctuary, Paddy field etc. , check in to resort. Overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 6:After the breakfast go for Alleppey sight seeing like coconut lagoons, Narrow canals, Coir villages etc. Overnight stay.

Day 7 :Morning, it's time to bid farewell drive to Cochin Airport/Rly station,
