Himachal Pradesh tour itinerary in 1st week of OCT,14 Days

Hello Everyone,

Please share an itinerary for Himachal Pradesh trip. Furnishing some details about our plan below:

Duration: 14 -15 days

Time: 1st week of Oct

Coming from: New Delhi

No of Persons: 4 (age between 27 to 45)

Preferences: Would like to visit more of high altitude valleys, Snowy places and if possible like to stay there rather than in cities.

Please mention the following in your reply:

1. Starting Point 2. Places to visit 3. Duration of stay. 4. Good avg hotels/ other type of accommodation. 5. Cab hiring 6. Any other important point you want to mention.

Kindly let me know if you need any info from my side.

D2 Sarahan to Sangla

D3 Sangla > Chitkul > Sangla

D4 Sangla to Kalpa

D5 Kalpa

D6 Kalpa to Nako (O/N stay at Somdo).

D7 Tabo to Dhankar, Kaza, Kibber (O/N at Losar)

D8 Losar - Chandratal trek.Kunzum Pass (O/N at Keylong).

D9 Keylong

D10 Keylong-Rohtang-Solang-Manali

D11 Manali

D12 Return journey.

Hi, There is the many places to visit in the Himachal Pradesh But, for the shortage of time you should visit Dharamshala. There are Many accomodations/hotels are available. Hotel Country Lodge( www.countrylodge.in ) is one the best hotel to stay in the Dharamshala it's a average hotel at the beautiful site in Dharamshala. There are many attraction in Dharamshala like: Mcleod ganj, Kangra temple, triund, dal lake etc.

We're finalizing the following itinerary: We are looking for a following package:

on 23rd OCT we are going to reach Pathankot railway station.

Day 1: Pathankot - Dhramshala (night stay)

Day 2: Dharamshala - Khajjiar (Night stay)

Day 3: Khajjiar - Dalhousie (night stay)

Day 4: Dalhousie - Keylong (night stay)

Day 5: Keylong - Rotang - Solang - Manali (Night Stay)

Day 6: Manali

Day 7: Manali - Chandratal trek Kunzum Pas- Losar (Night Stay)

Day 8: Losar - Kibber - Kaza- Dhankar Lake - Tabo/Somdo (Night Stay)

Day 9: Tabo - Nako - Kalpa (Night Stay)

Day 10: Kalpa- Sangla - Chitikul - Sangla (Night Stay)

Day 11: Snagla - Sarahan (Night Stay)

Day 12: Sarahan - Simla (Night Stay)

Looking forward for your feedback on the above. We have an extra day, If you feel you are rushing up (which we know we're doing pretty much everywhere :P) in any places, please mention where we can add that extra day.

Dalhousie to Keylong is not a feasible idea. You may add this part to the suggestive itinerary in the last leg.

Day 1: Pathankot - Dhramshala (night stay)

Day 2: Dharamshala - Khajjiar (Night stay)

Day 3: Khajjiar - Dalhousie (night stay)

Otherwise the whole plan will be cumbersome.
