I have been early November, it is really nice but you could still get the odd downpour, it`s a lovely sight and shouldn`t last too long.

First trip in 10 we went last 2 weeks of October and first week of November - it was glorious, the odd shower and no shacks at all first week, which was on reflection quite nice. The market was on then and with tourism becoming so important now am sure you will have no problems.

The one thing that really fascinated us was the way (then) the rice was dried at the side of the road, dont know if that still happens as we go a different time

You may well be there for Diwali which is a very important festival to the Goans with fireworks and burning an effigy, it really was the best trip ever.

Hope you enjoy
