Anywhere Else than Goa

My wife and I have been going to Goa now for over 10 years and considering mainly the visa increases with 3 children making this impossible now we need somewhere else to try, anybody got any ideas?

It depends on what you all get out of a holiday to Goa.

No point recommending places that are predominantly AI (e.g. Dom Rep, Cuba) if you really love eating out at different places every night.

And it may possibly depend on your budget too.

And maybe depends on how flexible you are on travel dates.

Thailand because it has the best beaches, it's a bit more expensive than Goa but still good value compared to other places.

We are in Nha Trang, Vietnam at the moment, been here nearly three weeks and it is brilliant. Beach is nice and clean, sea clear, warm and easy to get into. Food and drink cheaper than Goa. You pay about £2.50 for quality sunbeds with thick foam mattresses and the guy will fetch you cold beers, soft drinks or water anytime you want. No towels saving beds here everything first come first served. You can take your own food and drinks if you want, no problems.

Socialising on a night is different to Goa and Brits are definitely in the minority. It's more early mornings and early nights for us but if you younger you can find some late bars with plenty action no problem.

All kinds of food available here to suit everybody.
