This winter is a bit of a surprise - there hasn't been so much precipitation for 30-50 years. It is quite chilly as well, but usually it only stays for a few days.

We had a few days of rain showers and overcast when we were in Taba a couple of weeks ago. It was chilly sometimes but still way better than the UK. I've been to Taba a few times in January and not seen rain before this year.

I'm sitting on the balcony here as I type!

It rained yesterday in buckets for about an hour and we all got soaked on the open sided bus around the complex - bad timing!

It didn't last though and today has been warm enough to lay by the pool and get a sunburned face although it's been a bit windy.

Still far better than Oxfordshire in February, scuba diving tomorrow!

Hope this helps :)
