dress code

we are going to steigenberger aqua magic in a couple of weeks.

just a quick question on dress code - for restaurants etc.

we have never been to anything above a 3 star in canaries before - where everything is mega relaxed on dress - as long as its not wet beach wear you are fine.

what is the dress code in this sort of place? husband worrying - will jeans and a t shirt be acceptable? if not - what should he take?

thanks

1. Re: dress code

Hello there

Dont worry, I think the general rule for men is smart casual in the evening. I now make sure my husband has a couple pairs of trousers and TShirts with collars and sometimes a short sleeved shirt.

We like be casual but dress codes seem to be standard in 4/5 star hotels.

You will probably find some men wearing smart shorts in the evening or crops but most stick to the dress code. I think its just about covering knobbly knees so any long pant will do the job.

I am not going to the same hotel but have a peek on you tube, you may find a video taken at dinner??????

Have a wonderful holiday

He has bought a pair of dark blue chinos from asda and has a couple of linen shirts. Also some smart grey jeans so should be fine. Making him take a pair of shoes too!

Cant wait. One week to go!
