We are planning to go hiking to see the Sierra Negro Volcano on our trip to Galapagos islands. Not sure exactlly how many kilometers you have to walk. Some say 18KM, and some say 3 to 4 hours, some say 9 hours. Just trying to figrue out a reasonable time estimate and level of difficulty.
Also, I saw in one post, that they took a bus to the top and therefore had to walk only for 45 minutes. Are there buses available?. Is that an option if we already start the hike, and If so from which point can we get the bus?. Appreciate any clarifications on this.
