First time visit to Croatia

My son is looking to travel to Croatia in September flying to Pula or Rijeka can anyone recommend villas in Pula or Rijeka for 6 lads who just want to chill out. What would the temperature be like in September.

Thanks in anticipation of any replies

September is probably the best month to visit Croatia. Temperatures are about 22 - 27 celsius.

Villas - Istria has a lot of villas to offer but mostly inland only a few near major cities like Pula or Rijeka. Maybe to try your luck with the agencies that specialize in villa rentals in Croatia?

Villas are not so much in offer and they are in higher price range.Should be easier to find 6 bed apartments/guest houses.

September is ok temp wise ... with more chance of the rain W of Rijeka

Normally not to crowdy...for a piece of mind they can click it in advance

Hi,

Look at flying to Trieste with Ryanair, it is just as convenient, has more flights and may work out cheaper.

Hi eileen

You could check out the website below,it's the website for the Pula tourist office & does have a good selection in the accomodation section. The temperature in september should be more than just pleasant, certainly better than we'll probably be getting in either Ireland or the UK.Have the lads considered maybe looking at either Rovinj or Porec as a base? They would both add to their options on accomodation(& with another recent post in mind,i'm not advising them to avoid Pula.)

There's Villa Maria in Opatija near Rijeka. There are also villas in nearby cities.
