If you don't mind being about 15 miles inland of AC this place is only about two years old and has a room for $179. Its in a good location on English Creek Road just off of route 322.

I think you can also get a room at the Chelsea Pub & Inn, just off the Boardwalk by the Trop, for about that price.

Just stayed at that Homewood Suites on English creek rd - really nice hotel with a small indoor pool, fitness room, free business center and free breakfast. Also able to cook if you want to - has a 2 burner stove, full refrigerator and microwave. There are a few fast food restaurants and a supermarket at the strip mall accross the street. A nice alternative on a Saturday night and about a third less in price than in Alantic City.

I just ran your date through Expedia. There are a number of places in Pleasantville, Egg Harbor, Absecon area for around $100.

Thanks everyone. I know there's places right out of Ac but I heard some are quite shady. I'm gonna ck out your suggestions. Would love to stay close. Then I could enjoy a few beers without driving. Lol

Some of the hotels along the 2 main roads into AC have a bus that you can use to go into town. It costs around $20 but then you usually get a credit at the casino that it drops you off at. Then they usually leave from that same casino. They stop at a bunch of the hotels but I can't remember right now where we stayed that we did that, sorry. But there might be info on that on each hotel's website.

Anyone ever stay at the Comfort Inn North (or West)? Looking into these for a sat night stay in May as I don't get comp saturdays either. Only seem to be a few minutes away. North has rooms facing the boardwalk and west has rooms facing the water. Both about $90.

Avoid Pleasantville and West Atlantic City as they are both not good areas. Look in Absecon and Galloway.
