Total Rewards Visa

Hi AC forum :)

I stayed at Showboat recently and had a great stay. I haven't really played at any of the Caesars properties in a long time because I really liked the Hilton/ACH/Atlantic club and pretty much only gambled there. Anyway, I had such a great time a week ago it made me consider getting the Total Rewards visa. I looked back on old forum posts but that was when the card just came out. If you have any thoughts or experience (good or bad) with the new TR visa could you please post? I only get to AC about 2x a year so the fact that it could keep my RC active is appealing. Thanks in advance for any info :)

We were very happy with it and have received all promised promotions automatically.

Remember to get your Platinum card from Total Rewards after the credit card is processed.

However, we recently stopped using the credit cards now that we have lost interest in earning comp at CET without simulcasting. The Borgata is now the only AC casino for us since my husband is more into horseracing than slots.

we have been happy with it. No problems. we both opened one in the spring since we were going to vegas so we could take advantage of the offers that went with opening the card. Saved us a lot on meals with the 24 hour buffet pass for 2 that we both received. we timed it so we would get 4 free dinners out of it.

Thanks Bermudagal :) I know some of the posts when the card just came out mentioned some concerns about the bank or the need to monitor statements (which I would anyway). Have you ever had any concerns with your statement, etc.?

I love the park and have gotten tons of the perks that came with it. The extra $110 CRs, two free 24hr Vegas buffets, etc.

However, I am not a massive fun of the bank who provides the card. My biggest and typically only gripe is that they do not show pending authorizations. Sort of makes it a pain in the butt sometime.

But Ive gone from using my debit card at all merchant to using the credit card. Since April 2013, I have earned around $480 in CRs.

I've been happy with my card also. If you are going to get it, try and plan it for a couple of months before you have a vegas trip planned so that you can use the buffet of buffet perks and earn the 10,000 credits. The platinum status has come in handy also as you don't have to pay the resort fees when booking rooms!

Have a question though for other fellow cardholders: On their website I used to be able to see how much each transaction that posted to the card earned in reward credits. But I can't find that information anymore. Has anyone else noticed that?
