Borgata question

Hi my mother just received her borgata black card by upgrading with her trump chairman card. So she is getting some rooms in a couple weeks for a mini for the family. Question can you bring a cooler to your room. Never stayed at borgata

Black Label and Chairman card holders do not need to bring coolers up to their rooms.

I don't see why not. Tropicana has a rule that states no coolers but I highly, highly doubt that is enforced. I've brought in coolers before to Caesars and Bally's without issue. I can't see it being a problem at Borgata.

Not quite sure what musicandthecity means by "Black Label and Chairman card holders do not need to bring coolers up to their rooms."

LOL.... I'm just picturing big time players sneaking up 12 packs of Coors Light and extra pillows to their rooms...

I know on Harrah's web site it says no coolers bigger then 12x12, but I can't really see anybody enforcing that.

I recently saw a sign at BG saying something like....... NO COOLERS ALLOWED.

Every casino has these signs. Never seen it enforced though.

Our last time to Showboat, there was a group of guys who were actually rolling in two of those large coolers.

I'm sure they had a good time. lol

Drew- I had never noticed this sign at BG till my last trip....

It is possible that they intend to enforce this rule.

It is also possible that they simply had some empty space on the wall and printed "No Coolers Allowed" signs to fill it.

I have seen some people walk through harrahs with rolling coolers with nothing said, but I have seen them enforce it with some of the "after-dark pool club goers". I believe they just want to minimize loud parties in the room.

But, this selective enforcement is nothing short of profiling, and it is a matter of time before the ACLU or the AAA fight it.......lol
