Bally's upcoming Saturday $50K General Manager's Sweepstakes

Got an invite for this upcoming Saturday's $50K General Manager's Sweepstakes & High Limit Hot Seat events at Bally's. Have never been to one of these events & being that I'm going to be in AC anyway during this upcoming weekend, was wondering whether I should rsvp & attend?

Has anyone ever been to one of these events either at Bally's or at another of their three AC properties? Would like to get others personal opinions; also, do quite a few people attend?

The GM Sweepstakes held at HR has always been a low value "sucker event" .

Enter only if you are already there.

"Hot seat" events add some value to the base game...... if all Ballys High limit machines are eligible I would look to get a $1 (3-line) VP machine or video roulette (if they are still there).

it's an accurate reply.

sweeps such as these add very little expected return to your gaming dollar. in addition, CZR is notorious for poorly executing these events.... i'd be highly suspect that the winners are chosen fairly, particularly if they'e picking winners by computer. there's no way of knowing if you're even in the drawing, unless they do it old school... via tickets in a drum. (you have a better chance if the number of entries are based on play and you've had strong play during the qualifying period.)

most of the prizes in these sweepstakes are not claimed, as you must be present to win... and most people aren't, particularly when they drag the drawing out over four to seven hours). the drawings are designed to limit the casino's exposure and virtually guarantee that most prizes aren't claimed.

as for the hot seat, there is indeed greater value there, particularly if it's an invitation only event... in other words, if you can't just walk in to the high limit room and be eligible. but you must win! (either at the machines or via the hot seat) otherwise, you will easily run far more through those high limit machines than the lowest level prize they'll be awarding.

Just registered. The drawing is at 8:15 at ballys. There will be 93 winners. I had 18 entries and was told thats a good amt. they print out your entries and you put them in the drum! Like this much better than the computer pick. Feeling lucky:)

All entires were printed out and put in a drum.

I just won $100 slot play.

Ill take it.

You don't have to be here to win. You just have to check in to the winners list by midnight to claim your prize.
