I did one of those CET surveys a few months ago, the ones they send out after you visit one of their properties. I was very surprised when my phone rang on a Sunday afternoon with a NJ number appearing on my caller ID. Thought for a second it may be my host so I answered. It was a gentleman calling from Ballys. The guy was very professional and wanted to ask me about the horrible feedback I had given Ballys. I was happy to express my feelings. I did not sugar coat anything and told him that CET should be totally embarrassed that they have let Ballys go, especially the WWW. He agreed on comments I made about unhappy & rude employees, slow service because of employee cutbacks, the lack of good restaurants compared to other AC properties, dirty restrooms & the lack of restroom attendants and the over all lack of interest of CET putting any money into Ballys to improve things. He also said that many others he has spoken to have expressed the same.
He made it clear that Ballys & CET have been listening to everyone's feedback and do plan on improving Ballys starting with a new restaurant to replace the Virginia City Buffet. He appreciated my honesty and said he will be sending me a $30 food comp voucher for my taking them time to talk to him.
