2 more beachfront questions.

everyones advice/suggestions have been great!

which of the boardwalk resorts are nicest, (cabana for wife,

beach/tiki bar me) and is one of them clearly heads above the rest? (with limited knowledge we are leaning towards "resorts")

..and... best casual spot (if any) to grab raw oysters/ seafood

in bathing suit? oh yeah, sorry one more, are there five dollar

bj tables anywhere during the week ?

1. Re: 2 more beachfront questions.

alrite here we go:

1. the nicest boardwalk place in my opinion to stay at right now would have to be the quarter at the tropicana, just because it is newest, but if you arent concerned with newest all the rest are about the same, there arent any rooms that differ from the others on the boardwalk. The only rooms in AC that will probably make you go "wow" are in the borgata (which is in the marina district not near the boardwalk or even walking distance from the boardwalk) resorts is okay, its a lil dark in the casino area for me and the rolette tables are so smooshed together and the poker room, or should i say the poker area (its not a room) is a joke. As for cabanas...this is atlantic city, not vegas, i dont even think nice cabanas exist here...we got a beach for stuff like that.

2. As for a beach/tiki bar...vertially all the casinos have some sorta beach bar across the board on the beach that they are associated with. Nikki Beach is nice and new, with beds everywhere so i think it would make for a nice place during the day (nikki beach is outside of resorts...walk outta resorts and go right tho, cus its a lil walk down not directly behind)

as for one beach bar being above another, i dont think thats the case, all of the beach bars are pretty new, being they all opened within the last 2 years.

3. i dont do seafood so i dont know what to tell you about that

4. This might come as a shock to you, but in Atlantic City you are lucky to find a $10 table even during the week, i never EVER seen a $5 table of ANYTHING, 3card, bj or anything else. Not even during the day. After 10 at night most casinos are at a $15 min. too! Weekends you can find a coupl;e $15 but mostly $25!

hope that helps =)
