Hard Rock is already comping free rooms

I was playing around on their website, and they have a page devoted to tier matching. Not only will they match tiers from around the area, but each match is linked to a free room.

Diamond match gets you 1 free night. Mlife Platinum gets you 2. Lower levels get a 25% discount.

Unlike Revel, who didnt want to match and comp anything at opening, looks like hard Rock is coming out swinging for players.

+ $15 resort fees for comped rooms. And this is a one time only offer.

That's good to know. I actually went on their site through an email I received yesterday. It looks like you can start booking rooms from July 2 onward. Their rack rates are high ($449 for a Saturday, $149 for a Tuesday, for example) but I am looking forward to checking them out. I don't think I'll stay right off the bat, especially with comped rooms elsewhere but I do plan on giving them some play to start.

Also just heard it’s $10 to park no matter your card color. I suppose all these things are fluid and will be adjusted on the fly.

Originally I'd stated in a previous post I was going to completely pass on the Hard Rock. Now with this promotion, I presently feel undecided whether or not I should take Hard Rock up on this promotion.

I'm getting free parking at Borgata, Caesars/Bally's/Harrah's, & at Tropicana. Plus as a Total Rewards Diamond Member, no Resort Fee charge. As for my Atlantic City room comp situation, I'm receiving anywhere from 3 to 4 nts., inclusive of weekend nights. There's also the flyborgata weekend comp junkets. Then too, room comps from each Total Rewards & MLife in regards to their LV resort properties as well.

Thus; I quite honestly don't know whether to take Hard Rock up on their offer, or just skip it altogether instead.

Not correct. I was literally in the building on opening day and you can google around to other posts on this from around that time. According to Revel they are a Resort that just so happens to have a casino.

As a matter of fact, they opened in April 2012 and they did not even offer a tier player club card. Please look it up. The "Pearl" "Beach" "Ocean" level were not rolled out until January 2014. So there wasn't even a status level to match you to. Maybe you are misremembering.

After the 1st quarter of eight-figure losses, they started matching SOME offers to get people in the doors. But nothing officially published like this Hard Rock one.

After the 2nd quarter of eight-figure losses they started rolling out the promos for new members. Spin and win type things.

After the 3rd quarter of eight-figure losses they pulled back the no smoking policy and started with tournaments and promo games when you earn certain points. They even had a "Show us your offer from any casino in town" thing going on.

At the time of its opening, I was a Diamond with Total Rewards and Black Label at the Borgata. I had my cards matched at nearly every casino in town. Well, except the Atlantic Club. I had offers matched all over town as well. I tried, and documented on my blog that has a few hundred thousand hits, to get the Revel to do the same. No one was comped anything at opening. Or even months after that. It wasnt until they were losing cash that they started looking in that direction.

I am a resorts Epic member and my offer is 25% off...cool...so if Saturday rates are $450...my price would be about $350? No thanks...

Surprised to see that even the Paramount level only has offer for 1 night...

Good luck in AC!

The free or discount night(s) are to get players to try out Hard Rock. You "earned" your 3 free nights at Resorts, Ballys or wherever. Hard Rock is giving you something for nothing as a means to get you to try their product.

Once you show up, stay in that free (or discounted) room and actually play, your play would then drive future offers. The exact same way you have offers now from other casinos.

I'm not looking at this like "Borgata gives me 3 free nights + $250 in Free Play, so hard Rock should to". I'm looking at it as a leg up to try out a shiny new joint.

If I stay for free, and I don't like it, they lose by giving me a comped room. If I do like it, and I play during my stay, I'm then building my comp towards the next time there. Either way they are offering a way to get me in the door.

Zero chance I would pay rake rate out of pocket in hopes of drawing future offers. But a match and free stay? Sign me up.

it may not have been an offer made to the general public and it may not have been an "introductory offer," but many seven stars players received 500 bucks in slot play. and when they created a tiering system, they were also given unearned top tier status.
