Promo Prices Ceasars midweek August 2017 ?

Hello

I know it is very early but I am planning my USA East Tour and I only will stopping 2 nights in Atlantic City , when the prices for ceasars are good.

Right now when I do an hotel search for August 2017, Ceasars will cost around 200 USD /night (without fees) - for this price I will not stay there and skip Atlantic City.

At the moment there are a lot of promo prices for jan feb mar apr, for around 60 USD (midweek) ..

Can I expect such prices also in august , when the promo prices are coming out ?

or is august high season with higher prices ?

August is high season and if you can get a room for $200/night it is a bargain.

I would be happy to render advice, just bring over a six pack of Stiegl Pils ;)

I am seeing midweek rates of $105 to $159, Resort fees and taxes not included. You reference promo rates, does this mean that you are a member of Total Rewards? You might consider some non-casino hotels such as the Courtyard by Marriott, Sheraton, Clairidge. I also like the Chelsea (do not consider the Annex at Chelsea). I am a low roller and this past summer I recall getting midweek offers under $100 at Caesars, Ballys or Harrahs. August at the Shore is a great time to visit.

I looked at The Claridge which is technically connected to Caesars as it's connected indoors on FL2 to Ballys which is connected to Caesars and unless there is some storm, it'll be August so go for walking outside. And their basic rooms for mid~week were less than $200 [I found the most inexpensive room base price = $135] & prices were the same if it includes Sunday.

Hmmmm. Is there something in converting the dollars that I'm missing here? Welp, the prices I typed↑ are US dollars

The rates this far in advance are usually very high, if they are available at all. While logged into my Total Rewards account, I've gotten rooms in Bally's for $30+ nuisance fees (~$60) /night in August, but it really depends on the week in August. If you want cheap rates in August it really has to be late in August, like the last week. And I don't gamble so it's not like I'm getting any discount other than what one gets for using their Total Rewards account.

Let's all hope that the Taj really does open for the summer, since we do need the rooms.

One more thing, only book rooms during a sale. They happen often enough.

Thanks a lot for the answers. I found out that the Claridge is a carlson property and for this chain

I can use a special corporate rate, and this rate is for my dates available.

So I pay around 80 USD net /night and this is ok for me ...

If you can get $80 a night for a property in an Atlantic City casino in August, jump on that right away!

They've recently opened a rooftop bar atop the Claridge. I highly suggest y'all take an elevator ride up to FL23 [not all elevators ride to FL23] for a sunset or at least a visit. There is not many reviews yet, on the upside, some reviews have photos https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Revie… I expect by August the Vue has more offerings on their menu

If the week you are looking at is during the air show the rates will be high for mid week. Check around numerous sites like trivago, achotelexperts.com as well as each resort's web sites. Keep in mind Borgata, Golden Nugget and Harrahs are not ocean front properties, they are in the marina section. As others have said try some of the non casino hotels which also includes Showboat, Claridge and the Chelsea which are all along or close to the Ocean.

I agree with the above comment. Even with nuisance fees and parking (which Claridge charges by the day, I think) that's still a good rate for August in AC.
