Parque Tayrona

Has anyone taken the bus from Santa Marta to Parque Tayrona to visit justt for the day?

How long did the bus take and did it work out OK?

Do you know how late you can catch the bus back to Santa Marta in the evening?

I heard one runs every 30 minuets.

How long does it take to walk to the beach, once inside the park?

Thanks for any info that can be provided!

leslie, the tour company selection will depend on your Spanish language skills and the type of tour you plan to do . There are plenty of “fly by night” tour operators in Santa Marta who sell generic daily Tayrona park tours - day trippers; they cater mostly to tourists who speak Spanish.

If you want to do a Ciudad Perdida Trek, it would be advisable to use a reputable tour company to arrange a qualified tour guide.
