Any great eating out spots in SAI?

The reviews on all inclusive dining at Decam. San Luis sound a bit dismal, as we are thinking of a 2 week stay does anyone know if there is any reasonably priced good eating spots we could go to once in awhile? Do you think 2 weeks might a bit too long in SAI in January?

I can only answer the second part of your post. If you just want to relax under the sun in a tropical island, then 2 weeks is enough. However, If you are not the kind of person who likes to be at the beach all day long, then 2 weeks may be too much. In that case, you could spend some days (about 3 or 4) in Old Providencia, which is one of the most preserved islands in the Caribbean, or fly to mainland Colombia and stay in Cartagena de Indias, which is an amazing colonial city. That way you'll have a richer idea of what Colombia has to offer.

Yes there are lots of eating out spots downtown and they are very reasonably priced. If you like seafood try Coral View (very close to the San Luis) or Rincon de Langosta on the west side iof the island. My personal favourite is Kikki Rikki which is fried chicken but it is not greasy like KFC. It is downtown.

You can also try la Fonda for authentic Colombian food.
