I am visiting sanya city for a holiday for a period of 14 days, do i need a chinese visa to enterthe island. Thank you

Any question regarding whether a visa is needed always depends on what passport you hold.

Passport required.

- Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival.

Visa required.

Visa Issuance:

- Holders of holders of British normal passports endorsed British Citizen can obtain a visa on arrival, for a max. stay of 15 days, provided:

- arriving at Haikou (HAK) or Sanya (SYX); and

- traveling as part of a tourist group (5 or more people) to Hainan province.

Tours must be organized by a travel agent registered in Hainan province and approved by the National Tourism of China.
