is there any good tea shops worth visiting? i am wanting to buy good green tea and tie guan yin

try find TianYuMingCha 天福茗茶 in Chinese. this is a very big shop chain in China selling all types of teas, Black tea, green tea, and also guanyin tea. they have stores in almost all big cities in China.

You can also try before really buying.

Isn`t it called Ten Fu (aka Tian Fu)? http://www.tenfu.com

I would always buy my tea there and also recommend to my visitors. Most probably they will try to sell you the rather expensive teas if you walk in and say "I need green tea". Just say "you pian yi ma?" (you got cheaper ones?) and they will show you.
