Transportation from Santiago airport

Hi -

We are arriving on an early morning flight to Santiago before leaving for field work in Northern Patagonia. Friends have offered us their apartment in Vina de Mar, but we are not certain that after a long flight with child and equipment we want to try driving to Vina. Is there a shuttle that we could take to and from the airport. We are happy to be without a car in Vina.

Thanks

Lan Chile runs a small bus from the airport that goes 3 or 4 ties a day. it costs $6000. An alternative would be a taxi, about US$100.

You could, but with luggage and child not very convenient, take a regular bus to Viña from the Los Pajaritos subway station. The buses are comfortable and run every 20 minutes, but it could be a hassle.

Thank you - Local information is invaluable. I think we may save Vina del Mar for a future trip when we have more time.
