Dar Al Masyaf upgrade to Gulf Summerhouse.

This will be our second time visiting the DAM, loved the last time. Is it worth the estimated £400 to upgrade to the Gulf Summerhouse or should we just stick with what we have got. We stayed in a Ground floor Villa, looking directly onto the lagoon and Senses was across the lagoon from us. Any pointers would be appreciated. We will be staying for 8 nights, 2 adults and 2 kids.

As you've been before that's an easy one for you to decide if it would be worth £400 for you to have a different view and be closer to the beach.

If, in your opinion, that is worth £400 to you then you have your answer..

Gerry

Have stayed at DAM quite a few times in both Arabian and Gulf summerhouses. In my humble opinion Gulf are not worth the extra money and you are better with the private pools located within the Arabian houses. Spend the money saved on a special night out!

Thanks Latimer and Darren, will just stay with the Arabian Summerhouse. Not worth the extra if that is all you get. Celebrating our Anniversary when we are there and cannot wait to go again. Mulled over going to Menorca or Turkey, but once you have been to the Dam it's very hard to go anywhere else.
